Finishing Foreman

Santry, North Dublin

€60-65k + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension + Package

Finishing Foreman required for reputable developer who is currently undertaking a large residential project in West Dublin.

Role

Take ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
Report on progress weekly, and proactively address any delays to keep the project on track.
Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
Quality Assurance: Carry out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality and momentum.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure inductions, sign-off sheets.
Snagging & Handover: Lead and manage snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers. Maintain and close out the snag list in coordination with subcontractors.
Labour & Material Tracking: Complete daily allocation sheets to track site labour and material usage.
Unit Management: Take ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities:Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector
Relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field
Thorough understanding of construction processes, with a strong focus on the final stages of project delivery, including fit-outs and finishes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
