Mechanical Quantity Surveyor - Pharmaceutical - Cork
Our client is a Tier 1 main contractor who operate throughout Ireland, the UK, and Overseas.
Following their continued success they are looking to hire a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor (Piping) for a major Pharmaceutical project based in Cork.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the commercial aspects of all mechanical/piping packages
Ensure effective delivery of all the commercial requirements of the project
Provide accurate and informed reporting of the commercial performance
Managing the preparation and evaluation of subcontract packages and assist in the preparation of interim and final valuations.
Specific Requirements
Relevant Third level Degree
At least 3-5 years’ experience within Mechanical/Piping projects with a main contractor or M&E Subcontractor
Previous project experience on Pharma, Industrial, Data Centres, Hi-Tech, is preferable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Excellent IT skills
