As Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead the financial management while supervising and managing members in your commercial team. Predominantly a HQ based role (just off the M50) with 'hybrid' options.

You will be responsible for the commercial performance for four sites, managing all the civil engineering elements associated with ‘site development’ for major residential and mixed-use projects to 1,000+ units. Projects include ‘high density’ apartments, & traditional housing in key locations in Kildare, Meath, and Dublin (West).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting, preparation of interim payments and settlement of final accounts and carried out in a professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Obtain a copy of the project programme from the Construction Team and agree the relevant dates for the procurement of each sub-contract package. This should be transferred to the procurement schedule which should be updated regularly.
• Procurement of subcontractor packages, in line with agreed procurement schedule.
• Ensure attendance at pre-contract and kick-off meetings by relevant stakeholders.
• Produce a schedule which monitors this and update regularly, furnishing the MQS & PD with a copy on a monthly basis.
