Quantity Surveyor | Cost Manager

€85,000 per annum

Quantity Surveyor/PQS | Dublin | c.€120k Package

To join client’s ‘in-house’ team, offering salary, bonus, pension, car allowance, flexitime/hybrid & additional benefits associated with market leading corporation.

You will manage construction & ancillary development costs, risk mitigation strategies, providing cost leadership & feasibility studies for 100’s of high street/anchor stores in Ireland, EU & US.

Good performance is rewarded swiftly with promotion to the senior management team for key performers. You will be degree qualified in quantity surveying, cost management or similar, with proven year’s of experience in a PQS, Project Management Consultancy or Clients Team in Ireland, UK or overseas.

Responsibilities:
To assist with full scope of cost management services including pre and post contract cost planning:

• Procurement; Contract Admin.
• Understanding of Commercial & Residential, new build and refurbishment.
• Experience of various contract forms.
• Advising clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk, not just cost.

Ideally:

• You will be a qualified Quantity/Project Surveyor with good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
• You will possess logged post graduate experience in quantity surveying environment.
• Knowledge of various sectors: Retail, Commercial, Education, Residential.
• Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.
