Senior Estimator (Build & Civil)
Location: South Dublin (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: €110,000 – €130,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior Estimators with a background in Build and/or Civil projects to join a leading contractor based in South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for build and civil engineering projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare tender submissions
- Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to final submission
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information
- Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating phase
- Collaborate closely with project managers and commercial teams
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in construction and/or civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of Irish market rates and construction methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management
