Senior Planner – Residential Construction

Salary - £100k + Benefits

Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules/programs for residential construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
Analyse project data to identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
Provide planning and programming advice during the pre-construction, tendering, and construction phases.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables.
Utilize planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject) to produce accurate and detailed schedules.
Report progress regularly to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years in planning, ideally in residential construction.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or similar.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies and the residential sector.
Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to anticipate and address project challenges.
Qualifications: A relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
