Position: Site Administrator/Document Controller
Location: Slough
Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the company's documentation processes, ensuring that all documents are properly filed, accessible, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management: Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of all company documents, both electronic and paper-based.
Quality Control: Ensure all documents are properly formatted, accurate, and comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Document Tracking: Maintain an accurate tracking system for all documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and updated regularly.
Filing Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain efficient filing systems and procedures for both electronic and physical documents.
Compliance: Ensure all documentation is in compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Access Control: Manage document access permissions, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive information.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on document management systems and procedures.
Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on document status, compliance, and any issues encountered, providing recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless document flow and support project requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control or a similar role.
