Site Manager | Cork & Waterford 

Up to €85k per annum (DOE)

Tier 1 Irish Contractor is hiring Site Managers for large-scale, healthcare construction projects in Waterford and Cork. As site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. 

Key Requirements:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all construction activities on-site to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Manage daily operations and ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules
  • Monitor and control project costs to stay within the budget, reporting any discrepancies to the Project Manager
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other technical consultants to resolve design and technical issues
  • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Manage site staff, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring that they are adequately resourced and working efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.
  • Address and resolve any on-site conflicts or disputes quickly and effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on healthcare construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
