Setting Out / Site Engineer / Civil Engineering / Wind Farm

Our client are a well respected Civil Engineering contractor who operate throughout Ireland and the UK. They now seek a Setting Out Engineer for a project in Scotland.

Due to an increase in their workload, they are seeking site/setting out engineers initially based in Carnoustie, Scotland. As a Site/Setting Out Engineer you will be responsible for setting out all, ground works, concrete bases, Drainage and Earthworks for Civil Engineering Projects.

Alongside general Setting Out Engineer duties, you will also be required to:

• Arrange testing of materials
• Undertake the testing and calibration of instruments used
• Keep a Site Diary
• Fully interact with other members of the construction site team (team player)
• Liaise with other function/departmental managers
• Introduce improvements and innovation where appropriate to areas of responsibility
