Quantity Surveyor/PQS [Cost Management] | Canada

Required for busy Toronto based consultancy to work on exciting and challenging medium to large sized projects across Canada. You will be degree qualified in quantity surveying, cost management or similar, with 5+ year’s experience in a PQS or Project Management Consultancy practice in Ireland, UK or overseas.

Responsibilities:
To assist with full scope of cost management services including pre and post contract cost planning:

• Procurement; Contract Admin.
• Understanding of Commercial & Residential, new build and refurbishment.
• Experience of various contract forms.
• Advising clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk, not just cost.

Ideally:

• You will be a qualified Quantity/Project Surveyor with good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
• You will possess some post graduate experience in quantity surveying environment.
• Knowledge of various sectors: Commercial, Education, Residential.
• Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.
