RFIC Engineer

RFIC Engineer - Dublin.

In this role you will:
• Design, verify and document RF PLL subsystems (e.g. PLL, VCO’s, Mixers, LO Drivers), up to an operating frequency of 10GHz, using industry standard tools and design flows
• Work with IC Layout Design Engineers to optimise design and layout
• Create the necessary design and product documentation and host design reviews
• Characterise prototypes, developing test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering to drive product releases
• Contribute to the development of the IC production test programme for RF blocks
• Actively participate in silicon bring-up and characterisation testing
• Support silicon debug activities such as FIB edits and metal revisions

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Proven RF CMOS track record in volume production
• Experience in PLL's, VCO’s, LO Drivers and Mixers design
• In-depth knowledge of complete IC Design Flow: Analog IC Architecture Design and Modelling; IP Evaluation and Selection, Analog/Digital partitioning in mixed-signal systems

Knowledge of:
• High frequency CMOS RF design up to 10GHz
• Low power IC design techniques
• Design in CMOS 40nm node
• Good working knowledge of Cadence suite of Analog design tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative to come up with innovative solutions

Interested candidates should be educated to BE or equivalent and have at least 8 years' industrial experience in relevant product development.
