Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Installation & Service Engineer to join their professional and expanding team.
The Security Installation & Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of a range of electronic security systems across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, effective problem-solving skills, and a professional approach to customer service.
Install, commission, and maintain security systems, including:
CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
Intruder alarm systems
Access control systems
Fire alarm systems (desirable)
Carry out routine maintenance and respond to service calls and fault diagnostics.
Ensure all installations and service work comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
Complete accurate documentation, reports, and customer handovers.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team.
Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.
Proven experience in the installation and servicing of electronic security systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
Knowledge of current industry standards (e.g. I.S. EN 50131) is advantageous.
Valid EU driving licence.
Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
