Their expertise includes CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, and fire alarm systems, with a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer-focused service.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Installation & Service Engineer to join their professional and expanding team.

Role Overview

The Security Installation & Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of a range of electronic security systems across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, effective problem-solving skills, and a professional approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain security systems, including:

    • CCTV systems (IP and analogue)

    • Intruder alarm systems

    • Access control systems

    • Fire alarm systems (desirable)

  • Carry out routine maintenance and respond to service calls and fault diagnostics.

  • Ensure all installations and service work comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.

  • Complete accurate documentation, reports, and customer handovers.

  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team.

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the installation and servicing of electronic security systems.

  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Knowledge of current industry standards (e.g. I.S. EN 50131) is advantageous.

  • Valid EU driving licence.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
