CNC Turning Machinist (Weekend Shift) - County Louth.
Job description:
Working with cutting edge technology this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in engineering. Manufacturing primarily for aerospace and medical technology OEM's, the company's equipment list includes Tornos, Citizen, Nakamura and Hitachi.
This is a full time permanent position working either weekday nights or weekend shifts (days or nights) for which a premium will be paid.
• Monitor safe operation of machines
• Basic measurement checks of parts
• Ensure correct quality of products manufactured
• Material supply to machines & swarf control
• Maintain health and safety standards for the area
• Basic computer data entry and adjustment
Qualifications & Experience requirements:
· Relevant manufacturing experience using CNC machines
• Ideally experience of shift work
• Good verbal reasoning, numeracy ability and mechanical aptitude skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of computers
