Field Service Technician Lead - Dublin.
The position of Field Service Technician Lead reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for leading a team of Field Service Technicians across Ireland. The Field Service Technician Lead is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and servicing of the company's Reverse Vending Machines (RVM's). The day-to-day actions of the Field Service Technician Lead include the planning of personnel, timing of service requirements, parts logistics, and performing field-based tasks such as installation and servicing, and ensuring a consistent uptime of the RVM's.
Main duties:
Lead by example-
Lead a team of field service technicians in an effective and efficient way, providing best in class services to customers, by ensuring the company has the correct coverage in the field to meet and deliver on service requirements. Ensure the team maintains a positive morale
Ensure the team is well informed, by relaying communication to the team from the business, ensuring that everyone is aware of their deliveries, as well as how the business is operating
Manage an effective roster to meet customers' KPI's, aligned with business operational efficiencies
Perform installations, corrective and preventive maintenance on machines on a regular basis; the percentage of field-based tasks may vary depending on business needs.
Facilitating growth and development both for the team and individuals
Be a champion for improvements, for people, processes and products
Be a driver for delivering on customer commitments and safe practice
Ensure consistency of installations and service provided, while making sure policies and processes are followed and improved when required
Be the link between Service Manager and field team
Be a mentor for the field team, processing first line of questions in relation to operational demands coming from the field
Providing both 'classroom' training and on the job guidance
Perform toolbox talks and safety assessments
Manage the team performance, be a key part of the process in conducting yearly Performance Evaluations and Job Discussions for all assigned Team Members
Recruit and onboard field service technicians.
Qualifications and experience requirements:
Experience leading a team in a similar field-service management role
Experience working in the field, providing complex service or maintenance
Previous experience interacting face to face with customers.
Diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
Mechanical: Able to read mechanical drawings
Electrical: Able to read wiring schematics
Electronic: Have experience troubleshooting electronic equipment. Eventually this position will need to be able to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components of the RVM.
Customer Service: Must be personable; have very good customer service skills; be able to maintain relationships with customers and partners; must be able to communicate effectively.
Driving: Candidates must have a full driving license; be capable of and willing to drive for extended periods; as well as be able to effectively navigate to and from RVM locations.
Safety: able to demonstrate strong awareness of safety procedures and practices in previous positions; previous training in workplace safety practices is an advantage.

Ideally relevant qualifications or certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering.
Must be fluent in English
Must be located in the Dublin area
Must hold a clean valid driving licence for Ireland
