Maintenance Co-ordinator - Dublin city centre.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
The position takes responsibility for the co-ordination and completion of maintenance activities in a timely manner on the site within budget, operating strictly to internal and external H&S regulations and guidelines, including control of contractors.
The position involves the processing of material through the Solvent Recovery Facility (SRF) in an efficient, cost effective and safe manner, as planned and instructed by the Technical Manager.


KEY ACTIVITIES:

Maintenance of Transfer Station and Solvent Recovery Facility:

Planning and scheduling the maintenance of the facility to comply with both internal standards and external regulations/guidelines.
Troubleshooting of technical breakdowns, work preparation, material reservation and execution of repair activities. These activities can be in the field or in the workshop.

Review/update and administer the maintenance tasks in SAP

Reviewing of method statements and risk assessments and control of contractors at the Facility

Identify root cause of breakdown, determine and implement solutions.
Book Out Spare Parts.
Co-ordinate repairs of equipment

Maintenance Administration:

The preparation, update and execution of preventive and periodic maintenance programs.
The use of the SAP PM system as support and follow-up tool for the maintenance activities.

Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance checks & complete checklists where required.
Manage contractors on site carrying out preventive maintenance tasks.
Generate corrective work orders where follow up is required.

Small Size Projects:

The preparation and execution of small sized improvement and project activities.

Manage contractors during project works to ensure site standard of installation has been met.
Commissioning of new projects/plant & equipment

SRF Technician:

Performing functions as laid out in the planning, scheduling and organising of both bulk and non-bulk processing of material through the SRF to ensure consistent blends to the final waste treatment centre.
Control of bulk and non-bulk consignments/sampling into and out of the SRF including empties in SAP and other relevant spreadsheets/BBR’s.

Operational control of SCADA to ensure safe operation of the SRF

Processing of shipment documentation for outgoing and incoming bulk consignments

Interested applicants should have:

• Completed apprenticeship in Electrical, Instrumentation or similar, or an Ordinary Bachelor's Degree in an Electrical Engineering course or similar.

Minimum 2 years' experience

• Ideally experience of the maintenance module in SAP
• MS Office proficient
• Experience in planning and scheduling

• General electrical & instrumentation experience
• Ideally experience with emissions monitoring systems.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of a planning tool/application.
• Ideally knowledge and experience of SAP
