Mill Process Engineer - County Meath.
In this role you will be responsible for managing and improving the mill process, supporting operational process issues, initiating and carrying out projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support mill production
• Support mill laboratory
• Provide training as required in process related areas
• Planning and follow-up of development work
• Initiate improvement activities
• Act as contact person for technical department
• Evaluation of measurement results
• Participate in safety rounds
• Production end economic reports (income calculations)
• Concentrate stock planning and forecast
Experience and Qualifications sought for this role:
• A third level degree in Engineering or equivalent coupled with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in heavy industry processing is required.
• Previous project management experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of automation would be beneficial.
• Good organisational and strategic thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal skills. Good communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skills
• Effective team player along with the ability to work under one’s own initiative
• Decisive problem-solving skills
• Flexible approach to work
