Shift Electrician - County Cavan.

In this role the the successful candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of equipment across all areas of the plant. You will liaise with production personnel and assist with continuous improvement activities. The role also involves carrying out tool changes and assisting with mechanical maintenance duties.

It is essential that the successful applicant is a qualified time-served electrician with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience within a production or manufacturing environment. They must have the ability to read electrical drawings for fault diagnosis & isolation of circuits and have previous experience of preventative maintenance systems.

The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of health & safety within the workplace, be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role, have strong communication skills and be computer literate.

In addition they must be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, achieve targets and prioritise workload.

The hours of work will be based on 12 ¼ hour shifts, on a day, night and weekend rotating basis.
