Technical Advisory Engineer - County Louth.
Our client seeks a Technical Advisory Engineer to join its Technical Marketing team.
The key responsibilities of the position are:
• Provide product quality information and advice on cement and concrete technology to customers, specifiers and end users.
• Liaise with the R&D team in resolving customer issues and responding to general technical queries from the wider industry.
• Manage product evaluation programmes, including any outsourced projects.
• Assist in the development of the company’s sustainability strategy.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s website and literature.
• Represent the company at industry technical events, engage with 3rd level institutions and participate in industry and standards committees as required.
The role requires a knowledge of the construction industry combined with a strong technical background to interact with stakeholders at all stages of the cement and concrete supply chain.
Interested candidates should possess:
• A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in the construction industry together with a civil engineering degree or similar qualification in a construction related discipline.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Proven technical skills and business acumen.
• Competent IT knowledge, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will receive training to broaden their existing knowledge of cement and concrete.
