Location: Galway Technology Centre, Co. Galway

We're seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at the Galway Technology Centre. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in industrial sales and a passion for achieving targets in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales skills, a proactive mindset, and thrive under pressure. Strong organizational abilities, effective communication, and excellent written English are essential. This role will play a pivotal role in fostering creativity and innovation within our organization.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful candidate will drive the development, implementation, and growth of both new and existing business opportunities throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through lead generation and prospecting.
  • Drive customer acquisition across various industry sectors, including medical devices, precision engineering, automotive, defense, and electronics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' needs and businesses to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by effectively managing and interpreting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our applications team to deliver cutting-edge inspection and measurement solutions.
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and manage client accounts.
  • Provide technical support and after-sales service as required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using our CRM software.
  • Meet sales targets consistently and coordinate sales projects.
  • Assist customers with product support in alignment with our applications support team.
  • Participate in key national trade shows to generate leads and sales opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback and contribute to the company's innovation program.
  • Deliver on KPIs and quarterly sales growth targets.
  • Present regular progress reports to the management team.

Personal Profile:

  • Strong technical competence and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in industrial inspection equipment or similar field, with the ability to conduct on-site demonstrations.
  • Proficient in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities and applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Business or sales-related tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about contributing to company growth.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with the management team.
  • Well-organized and dependable, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills.

Salary:
An attractive remuneration package will be offered based on experience.
