The Clinical Support, (Orthopaedic Implants and Power Systems) will join our experienced Aesculap team. Our Aesculap division has been synonymous with competence in the operating room for over 150 years. The division is a partner for surgical and interventional treatment concepts in inpatient and outpatient care. Aesculap focuses on the following therapeutic areas: abdominal surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, spine surgery, neurosurgery, interventional vascular therapy and sterile goods management.
Since 1995 our Aesculap Academy has been keeping medical practitioners, hospital personnel and hospital management fit for the future.
Reporting to: Aesculap Business Unit Manager
In this role your core responsibilities will include:
- This is a clinical, educational, and commercial role, you will be tasked with organising and facilitating educational/clinical advice to customers in an acute setting.
- Liaising on a clinical basis with prospective and existing customers to monitor clinical satisfaction and needs.
- To establish and maintain relationships with key accounts and customers.
- To maintain appropriate and up-to-date product knowledge on the Company’s range of products/ services to ensure accuracy of communications and strong reputation and credibility with our customers.
- Promoting and growing the key product range with relevant customers with a clinical need for the product, with a specific focus on Orthopaedic Surgeons and hospitals.
- Delivering education and training on a group and individual basis.

- Be self-driven and goal orientated, with the drive to effectively handle and move past objections.
- Ability to develop good clinical and business relationships with Regional Key Opinion Leaders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a clinical support environment (Orthopedics an advantage).
- Comfortable working in a clinical setting and interacting with allied health professionals (e.g., nurses, doctors, biomed engineers)
- Familiar with relevant E.U. Directives for medical devices, e.g., MDR, EN 60601, I.S.O. quality standards.
- Full clean Irish driving license
- Flexible to travel regularly throughout Leinster and further as the need arises.
