Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Set up and test systems and sub-assemblies as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Perform inspection tasks on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, and other methodologies.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and other materials required for testing processes.
- Analyze and resolve malfunctions and non-conformance issues in systems and modules using theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- Verify that each system meets customer specifications, including proper configuration and sequence, as well as additional peripherals if required.
- Assist engineering teams in the installation and validation of new testing procedures, equipment, and products.
- Contribute to the design of test fixtures and inspection/testing protocols for modules and systems.
- Maintain accurate quality control records and necessary paperwork for systems and modules.
- Oversee and verify repair work to ensure faults are addressed and specifications are met.
- Work in compliance with quality control procedures related to material handling, defective material processing, acceptance/rejection protocols, and monitoring engineering changes or concessions.
- Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and ensure proper safety practices are maintained.
- Train new personnel or existing technicians on systems and modules as needed.
Your qualifications and experience:
- A third-level qualification such as an Engineering Degree, Diploma, or QQI Level 6 Certificate in Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and SAP.
