Medical Engineer (Dublin and Leinster).

In this role your core responsibilities will include:

• To support a wide range of medical equipment located within the hospital environment
• Technical support, repair, installation and commissioning of leading brands in medical equipment
• Perform routine maintenance as per manufacturers' guidelines
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with all customers
• Manage equipment maintenance scheduling
• Document preparation and certificate issuing
• To work as part of the Service Team
• Full awareness and participation in ISO standards
• Work closely with managers and provide daily progress updates
• To work in a safety conscious manner and with consideration for customers to minimise their disruption

Interested applicants should have:
• Strong technical diagnostic capability, fault finding / problem solving, and judgement skills are essential in this role
• Customer focussed, with a courteous and professional manner
• Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work on your own initiative & as part of a team
• Good organisational and timekeeping skills
• Ability to prioritise own workload, work to deadlines and deal with conflicting work pressures
• Self-driven, results orientated with a clear focus on high quality and customer relationships

• You should have a technical qualification (ideally at least a National Certificate/City and Guilds or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline)
Minimum of 3 years' relevant medical service industry experience
• Experience in fault finding & problem solving
• Full clean driving licence is essential
• Computer literate
• Flexibility & availability to travel and work away from home when required
