Microbiologist - South Dublin.
This role is being offered as a 12 months' fixed-term contract.
In this role you will be accountable for ensuring that all products produced at the site adhere to the specified microbiological and sterilisation standards. This involves staying well-informed about pertinent regulatory microbiological and sterilisation criteria for products produced at the site.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all current relevant worldwide regulatory requirements that relate to products manufactured at this location.
Responsible for the supervision of Microbiology Technicians
Sets the appropriate microbiological quality standards for all products and ensuring that these standards are applied uniformly across the site.
Ensures compliance with all sterilisation and environmental monitoring requirements.
Responsible for dose establishment, dose audits, dose mapping and preparing cycle time charts as required.
Performs a review of processed product lots and approval of lots for release.
Act as Microbiological Technical Specialist for the site
Integrate with appropriate technical specialist groups.
Interested applicants should have:
At least 3 years' experience in a healthcare industry in a similar role
Radiation and sterilisation experience would be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Experience in process validation, sterilisation and working in a cleanroom environment would be advantageous.
Proven ability of working in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to work with various software tools and technologies.
