Job Summary
Act as the quality representative for technical support, collaborating with other internal teams to address manufacturing issues for global customer accounts. Act as a bridge between the business and suppliers or customers on global quality matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain QA Plans: Create and sustain Quality Assurance plans and schedules for global new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization tailored to customer needs.
- Support Quoting Activities: Participate in the initial stages of process design, development, and implementation to support all quoting activities.
- Inspection Process Evaluation: Assess and offer input on inspection processes, utilizing inspection aids and instructional guidelines.
- Global Training Programs: Develop and implement specialized training sessions for all relevant functions to support global training programs specific to customers.
- Document Systems Management: Establish and maintain systems for storing, accessing, and reviewing documents related to global customer accounts.
- Discrepancy Review and Coordination: Review discrepancies from suppliers, internal sources, and customers. Coordinate and track corrective and proactive actions to ensure effectiveness.
- Documentation Maintenance: Periodically review and maintain documentation files, ensuring proper systems for storage and access.
- Supplier and Customer Discrepancies: Review and coordinate corrective/preventive action efforts for all discrepancies reported by suppliers or customers.
- Vendor Survey Participation: Engage in vendor survey activities, promote proactive participation with suppliers, and assist in their process improvement efforts where possible.
- Interdepartmental Interface: Work with all departments in alignment with Policies and Procedures.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Provide insights and support in implementing and maintaining process improvements and optimizations, focusing on proactive methodologies.
- Standardization of Manufacturing Processes: Assist in standardizing manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
- Technical Support on Quality Issues: Provide technical support on quality issues to the customer as needed.
- Safety and Health Compliance: Follow all safety and health regulations related to this position as directed by the supervisor.
- Security Policy Compliance: Adhere to all procedures within the company security policy.
Minimum Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
