The role will involve supporting the Production facilities & Despatch office. You will be responsible for the successful coordination of production planning to ensure high standards of production efficiency, stock management and customer service in line with business requirements. The post holder will provide support in the compiling of all the capacity and production plans whilst ensuring that the production plans meet the total business requirements and quality control.

They will also provide a key service to ensure the expected levels of customer service are met in line with supply chain costs. The role will require you to develop strong working relationships with both production and despatch teams.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team and demonstrate a flexible attitude to cope with the challenges of working within the supply chain. The ideal candidate should have previous planning experience within a fast-paced manufacturing organisation, strong communication and analytical skills along with a working knowledge of MS office and AutoCAD.

Main duties:

• Production Planning activities using custom software.
• Will act as Site Co-ordinator between the Design, Operations and Contracts Managers
• Will act as the direct liaison between the facility, Contracts Managers and Despatch scheduling.
• Responsible for retaining accurate oversight and transparency regarding despatch timelines and overall job progress.
• Will provide Despatch Co-ordinator with accurate scheduling information to allow for cost effective coordination of crew, vehicles, equipment, and plant hire.
• Effectively manage and utilise stocked materials.
• Assist in the maintaining of the quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
