Overview of the role
As a EHS Officer, you will be a member of the team in QESH and be responsible for the overseeing Environmental, Health & Safety standards of working within the business.

Role responsibilities:
• Management of risk assessments, site plans, training and awareness campaigns, monthly safety bulletins, safety alerts etc. within the safety management system.
• Regular site walks to make it easy and practical for employees to sustain the desired H&S behaviours, including advice/support and pragmatic approach on solving safety issues (e.g. lead safety walks)
• To ensure all health and safety legislative requirements are fulfilled on all sites in conjunction with the site safety team. This is inclusive of incident investigation.
• Work with the ERT leader and conduct regular practice exercises of the Safe Action Plan, the Incident Management Plan, Safety exercises at the plant.
• Data management to review and trend incidents and producing documents (policies, risk assessments, procedures, manuals, statements, checklists, etc.)
• To assist in the identification of H&S training needs for employees and to develop and ensure delivery of training (e.g. manual handling, VDU assessments).

Interested applicants should have:
• Diploma or higher in Safety, Health & Welfare at Work
• Appropriate experience (minimum 2 years) from a previous similar role
