Executive Assistant - County Westmeath.

Job Summary:
As Executive Assistant you will support the Group Managing Director in strategic and operational activities while working closely with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

Executive Support:
• Provide proactive administrative support to the MD
• Effectively act as a gatekeeper and general deputy of time, fielding internal and external scheduling requests and providing recommendations that are aligned with MD priorities
• Management of complex calendars and scheduling requirements
• Approach challenges with a positive and solutions-oriented perspective
• Compose and create documents, spreadsheets and presentations
• Handle highly confidential information
• Travel coordination (making travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries)
• Liaising with and greeting clients and business guests

M&A (mergers and acquisitions) Coordination:
• Keep track of current M&A activities and maintain regular updates
• Assist with the preparation of M&A filings
• Assist in negotiations by providing supporting materials, conducting analyses, and preparing presentations

Skills and Experience sought:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Business, Economics, or a related field, or 3 to 5 years' relevant experience
• Proficient in Advanced MS Office including Word, MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be a team player with a proactive attitude, takes initiative and has ability to work without supervision
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities, often with tight deadlines.
• Flexible with working hours, and can commit to regular travel as necessary
• German language skills would be a distinct advantage
